The main steam and main feedwater pipes for the ACP-1000 nuclear power plant in Karachi, Pakistan, exported by Zhongyuan Foreign Engineering Company, have recently come off the production line at Hongrun Nuclear Equipment. The Karachi K2/K3 nuclear power project is currently the largest construction project under cooperation between China and Pakistan, and is also the first overseas showcase of China's independently developed third-generation nuclear power technology, "Hualong One." Hongrun is honored to have participated in the manufacturing work of this project contract.
The specifications of this batch of steel pipes are 813*36.53, and the material is P280GH. All batch sampling inspection items and full inspection items have passed.
Hongrun Nuclear Equipment has a 50,000-ton vertical extrusion seamless steel pipe unit, and has unique characteristics in the manufacturing of large-diameter thick-walled seamless steel pipes, mainly reflected in: perfect surface finish, high dimensional accuracy, and good internal quality.
