Inspection Center

Hebei Honghun Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.'s Physical and Chemical Testing Center was established in 2002 and has grown significantly alongside the company's development over more than a decade. In December 2009, the company invested over 12 million yuan to expand the Physical and Chemical Testing Center, focusing on enhancing its testing and R&D capabilities. This involved purchasing advanced experimental and testing equipment and strengthening personnel training in testing skills. All upgrades were completed by the end of 2011. The Physical and Chemical Testing Center covers approximately 1500 square meters and employs over 20 researchers and technicians, with more than 50 sets of advanced experimental equipment. The center's primary function is to conduct testing of metallic materials for Hebei Honghun Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., providing accurate, timely, and reliable data to guide production. It also compiles original data for the company's internal "Quality Research Reports".

The main equipment and instruments in the Physical and Chemical Testing Center include: chemical analysis instruments (NHO gas analyzer, infrared carbon-sulfur analyzer, coal analyzer); direct-reading spectrometer; metallographic analysis instruments (domestic metallographic microscope, Zeiss metallographic microscope from Germany); mechanical properties testing equipment: (30T, 60T, 100T universal testing machines, low-temperature impact testing machine, room-temperature impact testing machine, Brinell and Rockwell hardness testers, U-shaped and V-shaped notched impact specimen tensile testing machine, high-temperature creep and endurance testing machine).

The main testing items of the Physical and Chemical Testing Center include: chemical analysis of metallic materials (chemical composition analysis, NHO gas analysis, direct-reading spectral analysis), metallographic testing (metal microstructure testing, determination of average grain size of metal, determination of non-metallic inclusion content in steel, low-magnification inspection of steel structure, intergranular corrosion test of stainless steel); mechanical property testing (room temperature and high-temperature tensile testing of metallic materials, bending test or flattening test of metal tubes, Charpy impact test of metal, Brinell or Rockwell hardness test of metal, high-temperature tensile creep and endurance strength test of metal).

Through the concerted efforts of all personnel in our Physical and Chemical Testing Center, and after more than two years of work, our company's Physical and Chemical Testing Center obtained the "CNAS Laboratory Accreditation Certificate" issued by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) on March 27, 2012. Its testing capabilities meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 "General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories" (CNAS-CL01 "Accreditation Criteria for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories"), providing reliable assurance for product quality and after-sales service.
